A unique vintage Fujifilm X-Fujinon FM 50mm F1.9 professionally modified by TerPhoto for cinematography, filmmaking and creative video production. Originally designed as a standard 50mm manual-focus lens for the Fujica X-mount 35mm SLR system, this example has been serviced, adapted for Sony E-mount, and converted into a practical character lens for modern digital cinema cameras.

The lens features a custom red anamorphic-style modification designed to produce distinctive red oval bokeh together with beautiful red flare effects. It remains a spherical 50mm lens and does not optically squeeze the image, so no anamorphic de-squeezing is required. For an anamorphic-inspired presentation, simply crop or add cinematic 2.35:1 / 2.39:1 letterbox bars in post-production.

The aperture has been professionally de-clicked, allowing smooth and continuous iris changes during video recording. A cine-style follow-focus gear is fitted to the focusing ring, making the lens suitable for follow-focus systems and controlled manual focus pulling.

The result is a compact vintage optic that combines genuine early-1980s Fujinon rendering with a much more dramatic visual signature.
