This lens has been carefully cine-modded in a professional workshop to meet the needs of cinematographers and filmmakers. The aperture ring is de-clicked for smooth, silent exposure transitions during video recording. A custom-fitted follow focus gears were added for compatibility with industry-standard rigs and focus systems. The housing has been adjusted and adapted to a solid Sony E-mount, enabling native use on full-frame and APS-C mirrorless cameras like the Sony A7, A7S, FX3, and others without additional adapters. While this is a spherical lens, its cine-mod was tuned to create anamorphic-style bokeh — producing an oval-shaped out-of-focus rendering and directional background blur under certain conditions, especially with strong backlighting. This effect gives a distinct cinematic character, making it ideal for music videos, short films, or experimental visuals.
