The original 45mm F2 was known as a small “pancake-style” normal lens, offering a slightly wider-than-50mm field of view with natural perspective, lightweight handling, and classic Rokkor color rendering. This cine-mod version keeps the original full-frame optical character while making the lens much more practical for modern filmmaking.

The lens features a neutral oval bokeh modification, giving a stylized anamorphic-inspired look from a spherical vintage lens. It creates oval highlights and a more cinematic depth feel without the need for de-squeezing. For the final widescreen presentation, simply add 1:2.35 aspect ratio black bars in post-production for a beautiful cinema-style frame.
