This lens has been fully serviced, cleaned, adjusted and re-lubricated to provide smooth mechanical operation suitable for demanding film productions.

The aperture has been de-clicked for seamless exposure transitions during filming, while two industry-standard 0.8 follow focus gears provide precise control over both focus and aperture. The optics are in very good vintage condition. There is only very minor cosmetic cleaning wear on the glass, which is typical for lenses of this age and has no visible effect on image quality. The body shows light signs of professional use while remaining mechanically excellent.

This version covers full frame sensors, making it suitable for modern digital cinema cameras including ARRI Alexa LF, RED V-Raptor, Sony VENICE, Canon C-series (with PL mount), Blackmagic URSA Cine and many others using PL mount.

Mir-3 65mm F3.5 was produced in the Soviet Union during the 1960s and 1970s as a high-quality medium-format photographic lens. It was originally designed for the Salut and Kiev 88 camera systems, which used a 6×6cm film format requiring a large image circle. Thanks to this optical design, the lens easily covers modern Full Frame sensors.

Its optical formula was inspired by classic Carl Zeiss wide-angle developments, combining excellent center sharpness with pleasing vintage rendering, smooth transitions and natural contrast.
