This professionally cine-modified Miranda MC Macro 28mm F2.8 has been carefully rebuilt for modern digital cinematography while preserving the unique vintage rendering that filmmakers love. Adapted for Sony E-mount, the lens covers full-frame sensors and is fully serviced, cleaned, adjusted, re-lubricated, and calibrated to provide smooth and reliable operation for professional productions.

Unlike a standard vintage still lens, this version has been extensively modified for filmmaking. The aperture has been de-clicked for seamless exposure adjustments during recording, while both the focus and aperture rings feature 0.8 follow focus gears for compatibility with professional cinema accessories.

One of the most distinctive features of this modification is its neutral oval bokeh together with beautiful neutral anamorphic-style flares. Instead of using an expensive anamorphic lens and dealing with image de-squeezing, this spherical modification produces an anamorphic-inspired rendering directly in-camera. The flare color naturally follows the color of the light source, creating authentic cinematic highlights. Simply add 2.35:1 (or 2.39:1) cinematic black bars in post-production to achieve a convincing widescreen anamorphic aesthetic.

The optical glass is in very good condition with only extremely minor cleaning marks and age-related wear typical for vintage optics. These cosmetic signs have no visible impact on image quality. The body is fully serviced and operates smoothly with precise focus and aperture movement.
