The modification is based on the classic Olympus OM Zuiko 50mm F1.8, one of the most popular compact vintage Japanese standard lenses from the Olympus OM film camera system era. The OM-System Zuiko lenses were produced during the golden age of compact 35mm SLR optics, mainly from the 1970s through later OM production years. They became known for their small size, sharp optical performance, warm vintage contrast, smooth focusing feel, and beautiful natural color rendering.
