This vintage Japanese manual-focus lens has been transformed for professional filmmaking and video production by TerPhoto. The optical modification produces orange oval anamorphic-style bokeh together with beautiful orange cinematic flares, giving footage a stylized widescreen character while retaining the simplicity of a spherical lens.

Unlike a true anamorphic taking lens, this modification does not require de-squeezing in post-production. Shoot normally and, when desired, add 1:2.35 cinematic aspect-ratio bars during editing to complement the anamorphic-inspired aesthetic.

The aperture has been de-clicked, allowing smooth and continuous iris adjustment during video recording. A follow-focus gear is installed on the focusing ring, providing precise manual focusing and compatibility with standard cine follow-focus systems. The lens also comes with an 80mm OD cine-style hood, making it more practical for use in a video rig.

The lens has been fully cleaned, adjusted and re-lubricated, then adapted and adjusted for Canon EF mount. It is a fully manual vintage cine-mod lens.
