This is a spherical modified lens rather than a true anamorphic optic, so there is no de-squeezing required. For an anamorphic-inspired presentation, simply add approximately 2.35:1 cinematic black bars or crop during post-production. The aperture has been professionally de-clicked, allowing smooth, stepless iris changes while recording video. A 0.8-pitch follow-focus gear is fitted to the focusing ring, allowing accurate manual focus pulls when used with standard cinema follow-focus systems.
