This cine-mod lens is built from the classic Tokina RMC 28mm F2.8 manual-focus wide angle prime, a compact Japanese film-era lens known for practical 28mm coverage, vintage contrast, natural color, and a slightly organic rendering that modern clinical lenses often do not provide. The original 35mm still-photo lens has been prepared for cinematography and professional video capturing work: it is fully cleaned, adjusted, re-lubricated, adapted and adjusted for Sony E-mount, then equipped with two 0.8 pitch follow focus gears for controlled focus pulls and aperture operation.

The glass is in pretty good vintage condition, with only very minor wear typical for older manual lenses. These small marks are not expected to affect image quality, video capture, contrast, sharpness, or the final picture.
